Advisory Council
The role of the Collier Resource Center’s Advisory Council is to:
- Provide unbiased insights and ideas from a third point-of-view as individuals who are not involved in the operation of the organization
- Develop an understanding of local human service needs, including gaps and overlaps
- Offer “wise counsel” on local issues to the CRC board of directors and staff
- Act as ambassadors for the CRC sharing the mission with the community
- Monitor changes in community services and needs
- Suggest ways the CRC can be more effective
- Seek ways to increase the sustainability of the CRC
- Provide non-binding/non-voting advice to the CRC board and staff
- Attend at least three of the four annual quarterly meetings (January, April, July and September)
