Advisory Council

The role of the Collier Resource Center’s Advisory Council is to:

  • Provide unbiased insights and ideas from a third point-of-view as individuals who are not involved in the operation of the organization
  • Develop an understanding of local human service needs, including gaps and overlaps
  • Offer “wise counsel” on local issues to the CRC board of directors and staff
  • Act as ambassadors for the CRC sharing the mission with the community
  • Monitor changes in community services and needs
  • Suggest ways the CRC can be more effective
  • Seek ways to increase the sustainability of the CRC
  • Provide non-binding/non-voting advice to the CRC board and staff
  • Attend at least three of the four annual quarterly meetings (January, April, July and September)
